Why should you take this masterclass of 52 courses?

I’ve had the great honor and pleasure of studying with Marie Forleo and Amy Porterfield. These are women dynamos who I feel are leaders. They’re not afraid to test things out and tell people about what worked and what didn’t. And I do the same thing.

According to Mari Smith, a marketing expert and someone that I look to for sound advice and insight, the theme of the coming year of 2019 is:

meaningful communities

Every writer, blogger, online marketer, etc. needs a meaningful community. It’s where people feel welcome, like they’ve found ‘their people’, and the place they’ll thrive.

And it wasn’t until I had an “ah-ha” moment in December (December 4, to be exact), where I implemented something I had been testing all summer and fall on Pinterest, did things really start moving.

How do you nurture one? How do you build one? How do you get readers?

In my new Mastermind group, I want that to be our focus for the year. Building ARC teams that love and adore your books. Building a community of bloggers that love to share your posts. Finding people and helping them that want to be where you are, and just need to know what they need to do (and what not to do) to get there.

I’ll be answering your questions. Look at what you’re doing. Give you tips in the group. And as I build new things (like a completely redesigned sales funnel intended to nurture your new subscribers to welcome them to your budding community), you’ll have first access to EVERYTHING.

Do you know your stuff, you ask?

There’s tons of advice floating all over the internet – a lot of it is good. Some of it, well, terrible. I prefer to be transparent about my income so that people I work with understand and trust I know my stuff. This is my income report from my merchant processor from mid 2016- end of 2018. Most of this income is from printables I’ve created, planners, books, workbooks, templates, and courses.

My 3-year sales income from my blog (mid-2016 and report ends December 31, 2018).

Believe me, before 2017 came rolling in with the help of Pinterest traffic, it was struggle city. 2 years ago, I was hustling. HARD. After deciding I was done having kids, I knew I had to get back to work. I had a lot of projects on my mind that I wanted to do, but just starting out again after working for a wedding stationery company, on my own, wasn’t exactly easy. I was trying to make a name for myself online as a graphic designer, trying to blog, homeschool my kids, and put food on the table while my husband was away on heavy haul trucking assignments.

Fast forward to today, Pinterest is my #1 source of new and returning customers of my design work and my books.

My Pinterest stats!

The #1 driver of traffic to my site (and the platform responsible for the bulk of my income over the past few years) is been Pinterest. Pinterest is a blogger’s paradise, and why I focus so much attention to it.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at my current stats on Pinterest, as of December 31, 2018.

And just so you can see that I’m not running ads – spending ZERO money on ads – (think the last time I ran a Pinterest ad was back in 2017 and spent about $68), here’s my ad report:

But my favorite part? My monthly viewers!

The number of monthly viewers has a direct correlation to the traffic you get to your website. If you’re an excellent pinner, you’ll have a very big account with a ton of traffic, which enables you to partner with agencies like Linquia, MediaVine, AdThrive, and BlogHer, to further your income. This can be done whether you’re an author, full-time blogger, part-time blogger, stay at home mom with a little website going, as a passive income opportunity, a freelance writer, or even a crafty, handy dad with an interest of supplementing those workshop tools with some website income.

3 million monthly viewers!

How do you get it all done?

So, many of you know this, but I’m a mom of 6 boys and happily married. I am also a writer, design websites, help other authors and bloggers market themselves online, do branding work, and am a full-time consultant for several UK bloggers. There’s a lot to balance with all of that.

And what I’m hoping to do is share some of my methods and strategies for streamlining – with a heavy focus on planning – with you so that no matter what life throws your way, you’re able to still get the work done. Because those that show up and complete work are the winners in this game of writing and blogging.

Big things are ahead. In 2019, I’m going to be scaling down my clientele business and focusing on Pinterest almost exclusively. It has made some of our dreams possible – building a new house in Montana, traveling, setting up college funds for 6 adorable kiddos, and more. I want the same success for you. In mid-2019, Pinterest is expected to go public with an IPO, which may change things for many marketers. It’ll be interesting, for sure!

This also makes it the perfect time to ‘get on top’ of Pinterest and your social media / search engine market.

So if you want to nail your blog and achieve all those goals in 2019, this is a great way to start. And I’ll hold your hand along the way. Checking your progress, give you advice on what you’re doing, and shed some light about what you may want to try.

If you sign up for my Masterclass, you’re telling me you’re finally committed to building your most important assets – your website and your email list.

Let’s do this.
